Have just quoted boots opticians for one store and this is the proposal i gave them. Hopefully going to use this proposal for lots more retail shops.

No problem mate, didnt say that you couldnt use it, after all you pay for it, but please be careful, things like that are supplied for your own use only, they normally give you permission through the terms of use.

could I ask a favour, could I grab a copy of your staff handbook you were sending people back in 06. Downloaded one from else where, but thought a variety might help me create one specific for me

The handbook that you have asked for is now seriously out of date, time and legislation has seen to that, the same handbook has done the rounds on many other sites, with little or no regard to copyright, as have other documents that I have supplied.

The simplest way is to access a program that allows editing of pdf documents, and make the required changes.

I am unable to supply the original in word document, as I had some idiot threaten legal action because the material was out of date, let me stress that the document should be used only as a GUIDE, it would be your responsibilty, to ensure that it meets current legislation, and not mine!

Not me being awkward, just covering myself and the company, it is now one of the reasons I help on an individual basis, rather than through the forum now.

well that sounds fair enough. it should be assumed that most things published on here need tweaking to suit the needs of the individual business and hsould only be used as a guide/template for developing our own.

Pencil in the 1st of April 2009, to look at your employment terms and conditions, as the procedures and rules relating to dismissal and greivence procedures radically change on this date, any claim for damages could rise as much as 25% if you get it wrong!
