Think there is a post on here from about a month ago about the same thing.

Think it has got something to do with the base chemicals in the solution going up in price ???

Last time I bought some FF rinse just b4 christmas my supplier told me it Prochem were putting a 25% increase on it 1st Jan 09, so I bought more than usual, just popped into supplier recently to get something else, it had gone up but only by about about 15%.

True Len but only need 70ml in my porty full tank so big saving on F&F, doesn't smell as nice though.

Olympic cleaning sites says F&F £7.50 + VAT

Sorry Mark, I can't even buy it off Prochem for that price. Think you'll find its unavailable.

Thought it sounded cheap John. Am i right to believe that this time last year Pureclean was about £16 + Vat?

It was around 19 quid but as it is virtually pure Phosphate it has shot up as there has been an 800% rise in the cost due to the Chinese buying it all up for fertiliser.

There was a similar thread a couple of weeks ago about Pureclean. Someone quoted a place with the old prices. I ordered 2 tubs-still waiting.

Rang them up after a week and they said someone would ring me - didn't

Rang up the next day, they said erm.... it's in the post.

That was 3-4 days ago.

Good job I wasn't banking on it turning up.  Don't care how cheap their stuff is won't be using them again.

John,
How do Craxtex products compare to Prochem, i see they seem far cheaper, but as we know cheapest is rarely the best.
Just trying to keep costs down at the moment as we are spending more on advertising than ever before, if anyone has used them how would you rate compared to Prochem and Chemspec?

As you can understand Mark I am unable to answer that question direct due to conflicts as I supply all 3 companies products. Sure other users would oblige.

The obvious answer would be to order some small amounts and try them for yourself.
I think you will be happy them.

I went over to Ashby's chemicals ,a lot cheaper than Prochem and better. Prochems products seemed to be getting a bit wishy washy. The only Prochem product I use now is citrus gel.
