4000 quid on Ebay???
« on: February 22, 2009, 12:40:41 pm »
Don't believe the price difference here. I want to go WFP about June this year. Been looking at links I found on here and can't believe that there is such a huge difference. The van systems some of you have would cost 4 times  as much here (Germany)as they would in UK. Only found 1 WC company over here that advertises using WFP on thier website (Small 2 man band). Check this link

http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/shop/index.php/Trolley-Systems/Ultra-Pure-RO-Electric/Detailed-product-flyer.html

Then check Ebay

Am I missing summat??? ???

The eBay one includes VAT and therefore is about £375 cheaper.

Cozy...I am based here in The Netherlands and yep all WFP equipment costs way more than it does in the UK....I only buy things like connectors, hose normal trad gear from here and all my other gear comes from the UK....you have to sometimes double up on somestuff to make it cost effective but I am now buying a new 4040 system from GAPS and with that I have 3 bags of resin and 8 sets of prefilters ordered..reason...just cheaper to bulk buy and ship....

I also buy my spares like this as well....just part of being away from the herd I suppose.

Cheers
Dave.

Yeah it does on my PC too but that piece of kit costs over 8k from Unger over here and Unger say it removes only 95% impurities. Not really taken off over here yet. Good for me!
By the way, thanks to Dave, Holland is the place to be for WC's. What set up do you use?

Have a HF5-4040 Membrane system on order from GAPS......

Thanks Dave, will need to come out with you for a day to get clued up on WFP some time about May if that would be OK? Don't want to invest in half measures. Guurmuns don't seem to know alot about it. Strange thing that as Unger are big in the market! ??? I am in Herford, about 30 mins from Minden, they closed Minden years ago (army), that's where I first started WC. Give me a shout/email and I can call you when I can work out a date to get to NL. Thanks again.
