The setting of your waste ratio will depend a lot on your input pressure and tds. As a general rule, start at a 50/50 ratio waste to product. If you have good pressure you should be able to reduce this ratio anywhere down to 30%. I would recommend giving the membranes a 5 minute flush before every large fill. To do this, simply open the waste valve fully.
you may need a larger diameter waste pipe. I've got 15mm plastic push fit on mine and it works well

If it doesn't increase from the waste then the valve is faulty.Andrew
