Text messages asking for a job.
« on: February 16, 2009, 05:54:20 pm »
Ive had 4 text messages since  Xmas, from people asking if I had any work going

When I text them back asking them for some deails i.e their name address and experience only one replied saying IT DOSENT MATTER I DONT WANT TO GO ON FILE
How do they expect to get any work?
Has anyone else had this?

Maybe its just the youth of today why bother talking when you can just text, or maybe it something to do with job centres requirements

I wouldn't bother replying or calling. Whoever needs a job might as well call you and ask.

Why not text back, using fully constructed words and sentences , use punctuation and proper grammar...
It will no doubt Confuse them! ;D ::) :o 8)

That's because some long established window cleaners still pay guys cash in hand, I know a guy that's been doing it for the last 10 years. This guy doesn't clean windows himself anymore, just drops lads off at various places and picks them up later.
He denies employing anyone, he says he is just renting the work out for 40% of the gross, it's up to the lads themselves to make their own arrangements to pay their tax and insurance contributions.
As I said 10 years and still going strong.
