Hi guys. My business has been up and running for a few months now. So far I have a 1 office contract (10 hrs) ; a letting agent who i do end of tennancies for (average once a week) and 6 domestic clients who i clean for each week. I have been doing most of the cleaning myself apart from the odd hand for big jobs and the office cleaning (the cleaner leaves in a couple of weeks!!).
My week is booked up with cleaning now meaning i have stopped taking on new cliens and building my business. My plan is to take someone new on and train them over a few weeks to take on all of my domestic clients.
The problem is, how do i go about finding the best. I need someone trustworthy, reliable and hardworking who will be committed to staying with my business for a long time. They will probably have to drive too. I know this is a big ask and will be like finding a needle in a haystack...but surely it can be done with the right strategy? Im not sure what type of people i should be targeting so i am confused about how to find them I was thinking about advertising in my local paper but thats as far as i have got.
How did you guys find your best employees and what are they like?
