picked up a job with a load of leaded windows so we are going to wfp the lot.

I will be using my slx for all the tops.

My young assistant I will be treating him to a small pole to clean the bottoms( normally these would of been trad but for the lead)

So which pole is it I,ve got info on a 9 foot (extended)excel or the mini pole from omnipole which is smaller and extends from 1 meter to 1.6 meter,obviously I aint got the poles in front of me just wanted some feedback before ordering cheers

Cleaning Spot do a nifty little pole, about 2'6" closed and 5'0"extended.  It's got a triangular section so the two parts can't spin round.

The omnipole will last a lot longer.

Can anyone tell me what a Haris pole is please, are they like the ones that Painters use ?

Harris pole is the alloy decorators pole you tend to find at B&Q or Focus. Different sizes. Find one that suits you. I have various poles for different jobs. Used the harris last night on some shop fronts.

What's wrong with using a wooden broom handle? That's what I use when (i) tradding most shop windows and (ii) wfping bungalows..

It's warm to the touch even in freezing conditions and who cares if it only lasts for two years?
