Maggie and all.....
The creators of microfibre cloths have never stated that you can clean with these cloths, and not using any chemicals you can have a germ free enviroment!
The way they are constructed are different from the usual cloth. From what i understand from looking into them before using them ourselves, the "microfibres" reach the parts that usual cloths do not.....the fibres are so small that they will get into any nook and crannie and take dirt, germs, bacteria etc. This is where other cloths fail.
However, just using water with these cloths, they do say that it will remove around 95% of germs and bacteria etc! However, if you were to add a chemical agent to the water, as you would normally do in cleaning, this would obviously enhance the cleaning up of the germs etc etc.
I gleamed a lot of the information from a report on the added benifits of using microfibre cloths for hospital and healthcare areas.....although i can't find where i have placed it for now.
The authorities gave it a thumbs up and are recommending that all Hospital and Healthcare cleaners put them to use and they come in all the clolours mentioned in above postings.
We use them all the time on our building sites cleaning the houses. Any plaster, mastic, dirt and dust etc that we find on toilets, kitchen surfaces, tiles etc come off as a rule just using these cloths.....as using abrasives and scrapers tend to cause scratches etc. We have 100% eliminated any problems from scratches just by changing to these cloths.
Also, we now only use just the one product for cleaning, a multipurpose toilet cleaner that we use in the water for cleaning, and also afterwards putting in the toilet bowl.....thus cutting down on the amount of cleaning chemicals etc.....
Cleaning mirrors and windows with a wet microfibre cloth and drying woth a dry one brings them up a treat as they do not leave smears....work a treat on stainless steel ovens, hobs even on American fridge freezers.
Baths, sinks, tiles all come up smear free when used correctly.
No smears on kitchen cabinets or on floors....there is no lint to come off these cloths because of their construction.
So what i am trying to say is that after the initial expence of buying these cloth.....we wouldn't ever go back to using general cloths again....infact there are no such cloths to be found in our vans.
Do you think i could make a career in selling these cloths??
