Up till Xmas I was pretty much on my 6weekly  cycle. A week off at Xmas, the week following another week off  due to the plumetting tempertures. Lots of days off since. Now over a month behind. Most customers wil understand. Must knuckle down when the good weather returns. Money wise I have earnt just enough to pay the bills. I tend not to worry about it..........for now :-\

3 weeks behind now. Customers by and large seem to understand, so not had any problems with them. The only real loser is me and the fact im not earning any money.
I wont right off anyone I'l just pick up where I left off, when I can.

I'm over a month behind now, due to christmas, flu, and snow. yeah i just carry on with my schedule, I don't write anything off, so the 2 monthly custy's have to wait 3 months etc.

The economy is vercucked and it's freezing cold. None of my customers give 2 stuffs about their windows at the moment. To put it another way none of them have been on the phone wanting to know when I'm coming. Most of them would probably be delighted if I showed up some time in May. Oh, and I'm 6 weeks behind!

I try and do my custy's a month (or two months) after the last clean - so e.g.:-

Last clean 3rd Jan due about 1st/3rd Feb - say I get there on the 8th Feb well then I add the month to 8th Feb and am due 7/9th march.

When running to schedule I try and go at the 4 or 8 week mark and pull back a day or two if you get my drift?
It's a game of three halves!

i have 3 days a week at moment and are 2 weeks behind and yes if i did those aswell as the next weeks work next week then i would end up with no work after three weeks because cannot go back to customers after 3 weeks.so i just have to remain behind.if it makes sence or anyone has a solution.

in 3 weeks time it could be raining all week anyway, so i'd get em all done while i could in your situation.

i run strictly 4 weekly ( some 8 wkly ), and i have been up to date for years !(mostly)
if for example i am say, half a week late this month , then i will hopefully be half a week early next time !
still 2 cleans in 8 wks ! , not always possible but that is what i work towards , i never drop work , and always do my round in the same order .
hopefully on monday i will be able to start last wednesdays work!
i am sure that many customers would be quite happy if i missed a clean at the moment , but that ' aint gonna happen ' !!

soloution is work flat out, when you have no work, get more till wok comes back around again, and keeop ding the same till you are full if you hapy there get an extra week for good meassure, if not carry on and employ someone
