Are you becoming a snob M ?, only thing I could see is the washers within pump deforming/expanding/contracting/leaking if they are solid and not heat resistent, if not then I cant see a problem at all, I would give it a go and see, then you can let us know

check the model with the manufactures. Normal water pumps are not made for hot liquids, you need specialised pumps for hot requirements or using chemicals.
