Derek

I understand, You've had a tough time with the Mrs being unwell and must have scuppered the business plans somewhat.

Hang in there and stay positive mate.

I know Mike is only having a laugh just like I like to and Derek himself will say so but perhaps it's time to lay off and help out.

Now then Derek if you hold off your advertising for no reason work will dry up, obviously of you are holding off so you can see to the kids whilst the wife gets better then that's different. February is a funny month but as the nights get lighter so our work load gets better but years ago there was a definate season for cleaning now a days it's more open season.

My advice is don't look for pockets of good weather or seasons just do it as CC is about being there everyday consistancy is the keyword.

Keep posting and yes I did get 555 on heading and 394 metres on the ski jump  on my Wii.

Hi Guys

Getting back on thread, spring cleaning died with coal fires.

When the caol shovel was put away the lady of the house would embark on a cleaning regime to get rid of all the soot etc

These days with central heating there is little change.

I often find May a poor month, relatively.

Shaun has the right idea, market consistently and you will get a consistent amount of work.

Cheers

Doug

seasonal differences might effect carpet cleaning because people think if the weather is bad dirt will get tracked into the house, but why should suite cleaning die a death.

everybody always puts carpets first ( look above, this is a carpet cleaning forum) but we are also upholstery cleaners and every house has upholstery but not all have carpets.

perhaps to weather any seasonal difference we should market the the upholstery cleaning.

I dont think Spring cleaning is the correct term anymore, for that time of year. It is however a time when many people are decorating and we get called in when they are finished.
