Got a large pub to clean with great Axminster that dosent have any black grease on it would normally use t/m considering bonnet/texatherm to insure swift drying slightly concened that it might not look as good as t/m however carpet looks good on visit any way any comments cheers Simon

Axminster is great for looking good despite what is spilled and ground in. Whilst it may not be a blacktop I would still be prepared to HWE. If it's not bad it should not take too long. You can bonnet afterwards to aid drying. You could always test and compare but my betting is HWE will look better.

You would only use an LM clean on this carpet as a problem solver. If there's no problem, you wouldn't use it.

However, if you thoroughly prevac and use your rotary to agitate your pre-spray, you will make the rinse stage easier and perhaps use less water= quicker drying, especially if you follow Arean's advice to post clean bonnet to aid drying. Blowers will help too.

A truckmount user in Cumbria cleaned half of one of his regular pub jobs with a Thermodry bonnet system and the other half with his truck and was gobsmacked to find the bonnet cleaned side looked much better.
He hadn't disturbed any of the deep down dirt with the bonnets and had only cleaned the top of the pile. As it dried very quick there was no wickback of dirt from the base of the pile.
The truckmount side, although removing vast amounts of dirt did still leave some there which wicked up casuing a slight dulling effect.
So yes it can be done but it is not a thorough a clean as HWE. Best would be to do what Arenaclean suggests and extract and post bonnet.
