"Hi Matt, this is ***** from ****. I am just dropping you a line to say that we wish to cancel our window cleaning arrangement with you. The reason for this is as I am rarely home when you come, you are unable to do the upstairs, rear of the house and as you do not use ladders you cannot clean our back bedroom window and as a result it is filthy. I have managed to find a window cleaner who still uses ladders and he is happy to access the upstairs of the house via the extension roof, they also clean the PVC and glass and use the old fashioned wiper type tool to remove excess water. If you remember I have had issues in the past about the streaks left on the glass after they have been cleaned by your company, I am still finding this happens."


All for £3.50...good riddens! Wont be loosing any sleep over that one!!!

I do 15 houses in there, have done for the past 4 - 5 years, no one else has ever whinged and i get on really well with them bar her...besides...shes fat lol

she put a lot of thought into presenting that note reasonably so it would be the more cutting for you.She managed to include about five negative points about you, and several about the superiority of your competition.To write it obviously gave her a great feeling of satisfaction and shows her as a deeply flawed individual.

For someone so obsessed with with your so called bad points i think life might become very empty for her with the new super cleaners.

I would be personally,... very worried about them 5 bad points, and in the same breath complimenting the competition.

Why could you not clean the back?... carry a small ladder and get on the ext. roof?

streaks....? that would worry me....first cleans, i explain spotting ...

but after that  it should be fine....

its just me i guess.... but i would want to know where i was going wrong....

it is a cheapo at £3.50.... and worth dropping... but all the same , her comments would set alarm bells ringing ,... if that was me.

Matt there were no streaks there were no workmanship  issues there is no compatition you are bring played. they do this   routine just to save a few quid whentimes are  tight .invent an issue find  a soloutin and bingo problem solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The trouble with this kind of cancellation when i've had it, is that it sows a little seed of doubt for a moment.
Say nothing.
It will show her it wasn't as big as issue with you as it was with her.

sorry matt  what i did in a similar situation not long ago isyou pull over around the corner check your tds check the brushes you clean out you filters  flush out your pipes ect  you find nothing wrong you wonder if the system is all its cracked up to be you go back spend an hour checking your previous jobs no mistakes you have self doubt in your skills and profesionalisum you wonder what it is you said  and are the trad guys really better than me and so on you fret go home  bore the wife and write on the forum  i am sure shes taking the p just to save a few bob................. it aint you its her and no shes not my wife mines lovely and full of the joys of spring!!!!!!!!!!!! i wish
