To answer a simple question like you have asked is  not as easy as you would think.

What is your budget?  Do you want to buy new or used?  do you plan on cleaning just carpet s & upholstery?  The list goes on & on.

Your question was.....Best machine?     The simple answer to this is not what others have said because both have limited capabilites....If you want the BEST MACHINE.....

..........you need to buy a HYDRAMASTER TITAN TRUCKMOUNT.  THE BEST CARPET/UPHOLSTERY CLEANING UNIT ON THE MARKET.

50% of the machines out there are the best in the right hands, when i first started i thought the best machine does the best job, but in 9 months using the same machine my results have improved 10 fold, all through lots of training and help from the guys off here
as long as it has a decent PSI, hot water capabilities and suction to get the water out, then the rest is up to you and your hunger for knowledge.
hope this helps

I would recommend training it is a must and also 'when I was a lad' if you didn't get some training then they wouldn't give you treatment risk insurance.

Very true,  many years ago we were asked to clean a area of carpet in a night club,  our main rivals in the night club cleaning sector had been asked to do the same,  i was using a Prochem Cub (Prochems bottom of range TM at the time) & was up against a Prochem Performer (Top of the range Prochem TM at the time).  We won the contract.  Anyone can set up & clean with the best piece of kit in the industry but if the operator is crap then its all a waste of money.

Within the Hot Water Extraction machines there is 2 to choose from.

1,  A Truckmount...unrivaled POWER
2,  A Portable.

Both will give good results providing you know how to use it correctly & you take pride in the work you do.

from my own experience..........i would buy a 2nd hand machine from one of the guys on this or another forum.......
but bear in mind that the machine will need to be serviced/repaired at intervals during your ownership.......no point owning a mchine that you have to drive miles and miles for service/parts......

and if it doesnt work out you can sell the machine/equipment for a small loss......as oppossed to having repayments to make for years

that said i own a ninja..............last yr i upgraded it to 400psi version.....that is not to say that the other versions are no good..........but with the money i made from cc from a lesser powered machine i reinvested back in t machine...........

cheapest.dont even go there not worth spending the money on a piece of junk that will leave carpets wet for days..........

training 1st..........then machine!!.........maybe even take 2-3 training courses with the different companies then judge what YOU think is best!!

life is one big learning experience!!!!!!!
