I have a 40 metre run to transfer water from the back of my house to the front.
This week Ive gone over to a van mount system so no longer need to carry barrels round from the back. I thought I'd get some lay flat hose to do this.
Anyway over the weekend I was having a trial run. That stuff is so naff its unbelievable, as soon as it comes out the top of the holding tank by my RO system it kinks, then it kinks on the first corner, then on the second corner and then on the third corner, then it kinks where it comes up into the van and also again where it goes down into my van mount tank.
How the hell does anyone use this stuff, its a nightmare.
Anyway, eventually I bought 50 metres of 1" tricoflex, bloody expensive, but it gets the water round there and no kinks no nothing

Out of everything Ive learnt since going over to WFP Id say that at least Ive learnt that lay flat hose is the biggest load of old doggie-doo Ive ever had to deal with, I'll be using it to heat the house unless someone wants 40 metres to hang themselves with
