Ive just tred one on my pole, where about do you put them, i can see how good they are at saving water, but i suppose 3 years of not having one is going to take some getting used to!
Mine are fitted so that the bottom of the trigger is about 6" from the bottom of the pole.
Sometimes, when your hand is on the trigger, you don’t have enough ‘arm movement’ to be able to do the top (opener) of a window and the bottom of the window without adjusting the pole length (especially if you are standing close to the wall) – but it only takes a couple of seconds to loosen a clamp and let the pole ‘collapse’ a couple of feet..
I do have one pole where the trigger is clamped to a sliding ‘collar’ so that the trigger will move up and down along a complete section of pole – which is a little easier to use – but it is difficult to get the collar fitting ‘just right’ so that it slides but is not too loose.
The ‘loop’ of hose from the trigger outlet to the base of the pole can be ‘a pain’ sometimes – but you get used to it.
