Been delivering leaflets most days. What percentage can i expect to get from say every 1000 leaflets?
And is it possible to build my round up on leaflets alone as i hate door knocking.

When i drop 1000 leaflets ill get between 2 and 6 jobs from them, but i get cals about 3-4 months later from areas I leaflet.

i think the popular answer on here is about 3 %

though it all depends on the area, you might hit a area that doesnt have a WC'er, and the uptake will be more

it also depends on the flyer, i read on here that a flyer with a semi-naked lady on works well ( its a bit of a in-joke on here )

0.5% ...I have found is the number this was from 20k leaflets put out.

Cheers guys that's about what i'm getting. Was thinking of putting the prices on the flyers to see if this works better.
Has anyone done this? and does it work or is it a mistake?

Trouble with prices on leaflets is that unless you know they do not have anything unusual out the back like say a 300sq km conservatory you could be shooting yourself in the foot.

But hey it might work for you..

you could try

but personally i dont think it would make much of a difference

putting average prices on leaflets has worked for me. response rate has gone from 1% up to 3%.

Yeah i put prices on some of my flyers, but i exclude conservatories, glass roofs, and velux's from that, and say call to get estimate..

Where i will arrange to meet with them, and see the extra bit that needs doing.

I only put prices on one that im comfortable doing at that price, NEVER to just "get" it, and drop a few months down the line.

usually, i say to a customer if you are friendly with your neighbours, have a word with them, to see if they want a window cleaner and if they have 2 or more cleans i'll give you a free clean for each one.. thats a great way to get extra custom.

BUT make sure your good to your word, and dont drop that neighbour in it, as they recommended you. You dont want them getting shirty with the other neighbours cos you screwed up somewhere.

  I have before now attached another little leaflet to my flyer, it has been printed of on my computer and read something like-

  " I will be cleaning in this area on 3rd/4th of February (example), please call prior to this date if you wish for a quote"

  It works well and can double your percentage of replies.
