Bristol based T/M user wanted for TV appearance!
« on: March 16, 2005, 02:07:04 pm »
Hi

We're currently working with a TV production company for Channel 5 and we need a truckmount user to be filmed cleaning a 3 bed end of terrace in Bristol for us. Filming is scheduled for w/c 23rd March although I'm not sure what day the carpets will be done.

If anyone's interested in more details and some free TV advertising please send me a message.

Regards

Mike

It's called Extreme Spring Clean and it's presented by Justin Ryan and Colin McAllister. They've done various 'makeover' shows including one that's running at the moment called 'How not to decorate!'

Should be shown in 3 - 4weeks time.

I do not live anywherenear Bristol buti am disapointed that the programme makers are insisting on a Truckmount User.
As people seeing this programme will start to demand a truckmount.

The thing is Ian, it looks good (quite apart from the fact that this particular house needs an extreme machine!)

Fibre

Could not agree more you are right some supplier want to earn too much profit!

Express did not make much money out of me when they sold me a TM but they made some! Every little helps.  What did the others get?

This is getting of the subject customer requested a TM not a porty.

I believe the TV show is for extreme cleaning, using a TM will add to the extremity level. A Prochem TM that is.

this has turned into another Tm v portable aguement, again by people who do not owe a TM and refuse to believe a TM does a better job than a portable.
Sorry guys but it does, get use to it and move on.
I use both and the TM does a better job.

For those that wanted to get involved I wouldn't be too disappointed - it turns out that they thought the carpets were all so bad they threw them out and laminated everything!

In the end, it seems they've filmed our truckmount guy turning up and then telling them the sofa covers can be machine washed!
