has anybody here used roundbuilders.com if so were they any good as i'm thinking about using them because i want to leave my current job and do window cleaning full time but don't have any spare time to go knock on door myself.

Why pay someone for something you can do yourself and it will all be your own.

Well with,my window cleaning,roofing and tarmacing on the side jobs it`s a bit of a wage add on to my dole money

Hi Paul.
Your post that you want to leave your job to do window cleaning but you do not have the time to spend canvassing.
I have never used a canvassing company but can see their worth when your business gets to a point where you need say a final 100 customers to compleete your round.
Reading your post it seems that you want or need to hit the ground running with an income.
The only way to do this is to buy a round and work with the person selling, if you really do not have the time.
Finally, and without wishing to seem rude, what makes you think you can/want to clean windows? Most successfull window cleaners spend a lot of time refining their work, managing their time and growing the business.
It is not an easy option, whereas your post makrs me think, you think it is.

It takes quite a while to build up a decent round just canvassing a few hours a week, took me a year to get to the point where I could even pay my bills. Just posting flyers will work, but will take a long time, unless you drop thousands.... buying a round or having one canvassed IS a relatively fast way to get a decent sized round...

....however, if Paul is only just starting out, it might take him a while to get up to speed, and might feel a bit swamped if he jumps in with a full round straight away.

Theres advantages and disadvantages both ways, I think.

I have done window cleaning before but i had to close my business due to losting big cleaning  jobs to bigger contracting companys so i know there is good money to be had if you are willing to work hard at it,  but this time i want to do mainly residential. so I will have to go out leaflet droping on my days off which is somthing that i didn't want to do as it is the only time i get to spend with my wife and kids.  anyway has anybody got a leaflet template i could use

I will second that. They are canvassing for me again starting in Feb.

Mate do it yourself, advertise on gumtree etc you will get a good few replys, state 8 pound a customer, pay them when cleaned and you know customer is good. save you a fortune than paying 2 cleans for rubbish work.
