Insurance
« on: January 17, 2009, 09:19:16 am »
Right bit of help needed here, i have always had basic public liability insurance for £1000000 'cos it only costs me £71. This is pretty basic and does not cover me for glass being worked on.
I now have my gutter sucker and need more cover - i feel there is a good chance of causing some serious damage to property with one of these (knocking loose guttering down etc)
So who can recommend me a good insurance company with the best cover at reasonable cost that covers me for property being worked on?

Just found this on this site so i'll have a look    http://www.window.cleaning-insurance.co.uk/

Get cover for gutter and fascia installation, i was told by simply business this would be the correct cover. Also you allows you to fix gutters you break or feel they need replacing whatever.

Allied insurance do a specific cleaners policy which will cover you for the material being cleaned. I have this as it covers me for carpets, windows, gutters, fascias etc.

I have 5m liability cover as I do council work but you dont usually need this much.
