What do you need to get started in oven cleaning apart from a strong back and a weak mind
Is there any specialist equipment involved? I know there is something the removables be put in thats kept in the van what is it though and what else do you need (thinking of getting the wife to do it
)

I wont do them for custys only letting agents that i work for (and they know i dont like doing them) do it to get them out the poo if im doing the carpets.
F##ked one up last year, got the chem on anodised aluminium and it corroded it, within 5mins, cost me a £100 carpet clean
got off lightly really...
Fairy powerspray is the stuff
harder work but safe

Oven cleaning now there is desperation for you, surely not a career move? Mind you i read somewhere on here that someones goal for 2009 was to do 50% carpet cleaning and 50% drive cleaning. Whatever ou either love this job or you don't obviously some dont.

Thanks for that informed and helpful contribution colin :
I was thinking of buying a small,reasonably cheap van and put a set up in that and market it as an off shoot of the carpet cleaning side ie..."our oven cleaning division" it helps to look and sound bigger than you are i think
There is obviously a market for it its worth looking into anyway.

Ryan, you can't possibly want to clean ovens. If you want branch out in to other areas then do hard floors or curtains, something that might give you some pride in a job well done, as something that will only drive you around the bend. sorry to be so negative, no direspect intended.
