« on: January 12, 2009, 04:00:03 pm »
Ive been asked if id be interested in cleaning 27 vans for a natrional delivery company every 2 weeks, can a jet washer be connected to a system, is it worth getting into this sort of thing or shall i pass it on to someone who works in this trade.

It all depends on what sort of jet washer you have?? if its a petrol 1 then just keep the revs down low and you be fine, Just connect up to your hose and away you go :) :)

Obviously it would be a waste using pure water to jetwash,

But will putting normal tap water into your tank affect the quality of the pure water(mineral deposits etc) once you switch back to WFP?

Or will it just get diluted and stay at 000?

Chris, I got a loncin petrol pressure washer which i use for gutter clearing ,it has a suction you hose you simply drop in the top of the tank and it sucks the water out,

I had an electric one but it didnt seem suck from the tank very well wether it was connected from the top or bottom

you will need a low flow one as the 13hp one i have will empty my 640 tank in 45 minutes

I havent a clue about pricing, i do know they get really dirty especially the vans that work in the country side

27 vans in 3 hours   :-\  , 6 minutes per van including swapping them over, i reckon they had 2 people before

if you wanted to go £80 each i would do it with you  ;), I could bring my pressure washer and you would have 2 tanks of water?
