East Anglia
« on: March 15, 2005, 09:42:42 am »

Hi Guys,

Following up from the thread discussing the networking Idea, I thought It may be worth testing the water and seeing who could come together in my neck of the woods to cover East anglia.

I can cover East cambridgeshire and West Suffolk, a 30 mile radius of Newmarket.

Regards

Paul

Count me in, Paul.

Long live the East Anglian Mafia.  :)

Off now for more leafleting. Does anyone actually like doing this? I can't stand it, but it has to be done.

Hi Guys,

We don't crunch many carrots down here , more cockles but I'd be happy to do Southend and the surrounding areas.

I do get quite a few enquiries for Chelmsford , London etc which I would be happy to pass on.

Cheers,

Doug

You need 2 things for dogs, a pocket full of biscuits and a piece of wood. Drop a biscuit at your feet, when they go to get it, hit them with the wood.  :o

(only joking dog lovers, I've got a dog myself)

It has been know for me to go to Milton Keynes and Gloucester but your neck of the words far to far no motorways.

For now I only cover Greater London, Kent, Parts of Surrey, Parts of Essex, Middlesex, East Sussex, but if the price was right I could be persuaded.

Don't mind it Paul....along with obviously Ipswich, Colchester and along the Suffolk coast (Felixstowe, Aldeburgh, Southwold and up to Lowestoft).

Although in truth, I'd go just about anywhere at the moment.  :(

Chris, there's obviously a knack you haven't yet mastered. Some of these dogs can be crafty little bleeders. They sneak up on you when you least expect it.

I went to put a leaflet through a letterbox, and it was one of those with the brush thing behind the opening where you've really got to put your hand all the way through to get the leaflet to drop onto the floor.  Everything seemed fine, and I was just forcing the leaflet through the brushes. Had about half my hand through the box, when the dog on the other side thought now was a good time to attack! Fierce barking followed by a run up to the door.....I just escaped with my fingers intact as i heard this great thud on the other side of the door. That was far too close for comfort, so now when I get one of those letterboxes with the brushes, I open it fully and wait for a second. If a dog was behind there, it'd come at you as soon as it thought you were trying to get in.

Of course, if the dog's on the other side of the front door, then...... :(
