mark most of the postcard I've seen related to carpet cleaning are boring and of no interest to customers.

with a postcard the picture is just to catch the customers attention, its the reverse that conveys your message so why not use a interesting picture. I bought a load of Ann Geddes postcards ( the famous photographer who specialises in baby in plantpot pictures) and put them through my printer.

Hydramaster send me a really funny and professionally designed Christmas Card which I thought could be adapted as a reminder postcard but as you say we may find it funny but the customer may miss the point.
