Hi Chloe
We were cleaning an office twice a week and I'm sure they didn't wash single mug in between! We were faced with 30 dirty mugs, manky soup bowls and dried up microwave meals every visit. It was disgusting and we always did it, but if we missed one bloomin skirting board they'd be whinging like mad!
When I was an office manager, our cleaners didn't wash up so I think we were just being taken for mugs lol
Cheers
Diane

We used to include washing up on our cleaning schedules but for the past two years we havent, simply because i believe you are their to clean the premises for which usually the cleaner only has a finite amount of time.

We were asked to wash up on one of our contracts explained that is not a problem but there will be an extra charge on the agreed quote or leave some of the cleaning,as we had quoted for cleaning only They chose to wash there own cups up etc and not compromise the cleaning standards.

83 blooming mugs in the kitchen of the office i do daily !! wouldnt mind but there isnt more than 25 people there
they had a timy domestic dish washer which went bust so they got a bigger BOSCH one thats still not big enough to do all the plates and mugs in one go but on the up side i supply the dishwasher tabs at a nice profit

Hi Chloe
I treat each office contract differently. For example-I have a dailyoffice clean-2hours per day (really needs 3 hours), and there isn't time to wash their pots because the time is so limited. Having said that they would have had me doing the lot if i hadn't told them there was no time.
I have a once a week 3 hour clean and its a doddle so i do their washing up-no problem.
