« on: January 08, 2009, 05:16:39 pm »
Got my new super-lite brush through today, the mono filament dual trim version... VERY impressed :) Thanks to Alex for it, splays beautifully and is sooooooooo light :) I'm used to heavy Vikan and Ionics brushes, so its a pleasure to use :)

Chris

We've been using the single trim version for quite a few month's now best brushes we've ever used I'd hate to have to go back to using a Vikan. I'm going to try the dual trim version next time as I think that will be even better.

I got one last week and it makes my facelift pole even better to work with
I have alot of awkward windows on my round but with this brush they have become so much easier i even do a few extra windows that were to hard to do with the Vikan fridge

Hi Dean

What size Facelift pole are you using with your superlight brush is it carbon or glass fibre? What kind of goose neck is compatible with the Facelift pole and superlight brush?

I have a 34ft Carbon fibre but i mostly use it with just 3 sections plus a glass fibre bottom section
The brush fits onto a small cranked angle joint and i got an adapter from cleantech to attatch that to the pole the thread is the same as the vikan brush

Ive got the white DT SL brush and the new black DT SL flocked, can recommend them highly. Ionics brush can go decay for all i care, i wont be using it again, unless i need to scrub the patio or something.

never used i Vikan, so cant comment on them.

they are brilliant brushes but my own preference is the flocked version .

I have tried the mono dual trim and the single trim and I really like them. However on some commercial work I feel I could sometimes do with a little more scrubbing power but I am concerned that the flocking will make rinsing on not as effective

what do you think?

Yes you need to lift in order to rinse properly as the brush does hold onto the contamination you cant rinse do it on the glazing.

Yeh, I liked the scrubbability and look (and color) of the flocked, but I like to rinse on, because, well, I'm lazy.... :P So went for the mono instead. Its still a great brush though, scrubs really nicely :)
