New RO
« on: January 07, 2009, 11:18:32 pm »
Hi peeps. After losing my old RO to the cold over the last couple o days, i decided to buy a new 200gpd last night. All connected up now but i do have a slight leak going on. I'm gonna try and attech a picture in the hope that one or two of ya can tell me if i can sort this one out or whether i'll have to take it back to the place i got it. The leak isn't where the green hits white, it's coming down from the bend where white hits white, if that makes sense. Please 'elp x x x

Ok as promised, i PTFE'd all the joints this morning...........No leaks.....from the joints  :) But i am from the top of the 2 filter housings  :( I noticed it came with"two"filter seals(one black/one white) in each housing. But it leaked when using the two, so i took one out from each filter housing and it's "still" leaking slightly. I dont understand it.... I'm tightening the joints well, but not too tight..... Do i need 2 seals per housing??????????? It's an RO man 200gps system............Any help, soooo appreciated. Thanks, Dino

RO-Man changes the specification of the filter housing fairly regularly, so it would be best to give them a ring on 01823 698813 and they should be able to help, or email them on helpdesk@ro-man.com

(Moderators am I still allowed to post links to other retailers or not?)

I would have thought so. Its not your own link and your not advertising anything from it.
