Doorknockers is run by Paul Bass and others from cambridge.
In the past i have used them as well as a few others on the other forum.
Paul Smith who started Powerclene afew years ago used them for building up rounds for his franchisees.....
If you would like some information on them then pm me as i will not say what i want to on an open forum.

I have to agree 100% here. Why pay strange people loads of money when you could do it yourself. Potential custies need to see the face that they're going to employ at their property.

If you have the time i suggest canvassing yourself instead of hiring companies to do it for you, will save you so much money in the long run.

Why pay someone 2 cleans for the new customers when you could get them yourself and be quids in straight away without the risk of paying out 2 cleans just for the customer to cancel on the third or fourth clean.

with canvasing you get sooooooo much crap custom id say an average out of all the canvassing I did for people on this forum and others about 20% drop out before the third clean. Then you get customers droping like flies as cant afford it, move etc. so by the end of 5-6 months you would lose maybe a third of the canvassed work which you have just payed 2 cleans for.

Also as canvassers we  say anything to get the deal and promise the world to the customer.

The worst part is the canvassers that work for the owner of the canvassing company.  Canvassers leave out minor details thinking they will get paid more which realy ped me off,,,eg-  Doesn't say the customer wants every other month, doesnt say if customer wants front only, rear access issues, window cleaner must call night before must call first etc etc the list goes on and on. all these things come in to play with losing your knew customers which is one of the reasons i stoped taking teams canvassing for other people. More hastle than what its worth.

Save yourself time and stress and do it your self Mr Sparlle
