went out 9.30 did local shop trad, then one large 4 bed house . but the hose froze after 15mins so gave up. just put ipa in water for tomorrow hope this wil help.Have also put an electric heater in garage , hoping it will thaw out the transfer hose.
fingers x that the ipa will stop the hose freezing

Wow, you did too! And still no good? Seems in this weather its a case of heating the van and then hoping!

Travelled 11 miles, first job sunny at front and son was using tricoflex hose, he was doing fine, I had microbore and no joy for me at the back, out of the sun.
Son came round the back and his hose froze up as well.
Drove home and thawed hoses out, had some dinner and went back out.
Did a £20.00 house, both hoses fine, and then drove to another 2 houses and microbore had frozen again, but tricoflex was ok.

So my conclusion is, use the tricoflex hoses on the cold days.

Will have to carry a spare hosereel with tricoflex on !!

I gotta convey roof to quote up tomorrow, so im expecting to do it there and then - so that should be a fun cold hour. Then off to try and get some of the usual done. Seeing as its -3 atm, it could be a difficult first day back.

Reminds me, better go and check the pump... Van is usually ok as under the car port no harm in wrapping some lagging round the pump thou just encase.

No Jeff, im seeing the accountant next week, you wont be the last by far!
