Parking consession
« on: January 06, 2009, 02:00:01 pm »
No work today frozen up.
On a plus note just renewed my parking consession with the local council if you havent got one just ring your local council explaining you need one to run your business.
You have to prove your genuine  of course ( headed letter or yellow pages etc} and dont abuse it or its taken away.

That sounds like a good system.

Round here (though Ian_Giles and Squeaky would know better than me) the traffic wardens and Blunkett's Bobbies (PCSOs) seem to leave you alone if they know you're working.

One PCSO told me to leave a note in my windscreen saying as such, so I guess we've got the same but unofficial policy round here (Chepstow, South East Wales (though it's more English than Taffy).
