why not expand your area if you don't have enough work where you are, or start knocking doors and ask the people if they want a window cleaner. you will get a better responce from face to face than leafleting. and if you buy a round that is just a list of names and not a guarentee of business

If you're too frightened or lazy to canvas, you can re-leaflet the same areas you've re-leafleted before.

Also, ask your existing customers - every-one-of-them - to recommend you to their neighbors and friends.  I'm assuming you do a good job and aren't extortionate (sloppy work and high prices come with experience  ;D), so just say to them when you have contact with them, 'If you like what I do, I'd more than welcome you to reccomend me to your neighbors and friends'.

Don't offer them any financial insentive though; I don't think that's needed; honest.

its not that i dont do all of the above i think its that time of year and was just thinking of making a little more money on the days im not doing anything. i would rather make money then sit at home waiteing for the phone to ring and if i travel further and it will cost more in  the longer run. and at this time of year more window cleaners are out trying to get work,so its a good time to try and make money other ways.... :D :D

I think gazzasp8 who comes on here is from west yorkshire, wakefield. Maybe he could do with a hand sometimes?
