how do you stop the water freezing when it goes on the windows keep loosing days due to this

If you keep agitating the water on the glass with the brush and keep a steady flow, you will find that the ice melts and runs down the window.
 It means you have to spend longer on the windows and use more water, but you can work.
 The extra agitation should help to warm you up as well.  ;D ;D
