Sweet looking site, Nathanael, very nice indeed.

I love the simple and clean layout, very similar to what I've got planned for 2009 for my site, too

Under Latest News, John the Window Cleaner needs capital letters on the Window Cleaner bit.

Mrs A

Should be 'Mrs G', Mrs refers to the surname, your surname is Gardiner, the A is a reference to your husbands first name, that by the way is Alex.

 ;D

The A is a reference to my first name which just so happens to be the same initial as my husband's, who by the way is Alex  :D

I'm putting the finishing touches on a new website for John Garnett & I'd appreciate your comments. I've spell checked it,... but I'm blind to spelling/grammar errors, so let me know any mistakes you spot!
www.johnthewindowcleaner.com

 ;D

I think you have done a wonderful job and I'm suitably impressed here are some of my observations and I hope you take them in the spirit they are given as it's sometimes hard to accept criticisms after all the hard work you have obviously done.

Services page left hand column:

"Would you wash your hands in cold water? Would you wash you clothes or dishes in cold water? Of course not! Hot water cleans better, it's common sense!" (word needs changing)

"This method of high reach cleaning fully complies with the HSA "Work at height" regulations which strictly limit the use of ladders as temporary workstations for window cleaning use." (word needs changing)

Home page right hand column services:

"Whether you need a single window or a block of flats cleaned, we have the solution you need at a price you can afford. At John the Window Cleaner, our goal is to provide you with a courteous, expedient and professional service of the highest caliber." (spelling)

Homepage:

Paragraph underneath the Therm Clean logo, you have used the word "specialise" which can be spelt with a Z or S as you have done it, and is the correct English way. On your payments page online payment paragraph near the bottom you have used the word "authorized" but spelt the American way, I know in this day and age both are correct but it's best to be consistent and spell them one way or the other.

Another observation and I mean no disrespect whatsoever is that the photo of John used on the homepage does have a feel of FBI 10 most wanted about it.

About page:

Personal preference only I hate Testimonials on a website, they can be made up to say just what we want, but to be fair there is not many of them.

All the best

Steve

Regarding the photo it may be as well to leave it out completely as people will often judge by the image rightly or wrongly and may decide not to give them a ring because they don't like the look of someone. (you know what some people are like). Images of someone at work slightly in the distance or from a side view are fine.

You want the site to fully encourage the browser to contact the company and not to give them any reason not to.
All the best

Just having another look, the flash heading "John The Window Cleaner" is it me or is there something wrong with the letter J of John, looks like part of it is missing or is it just the font?

Very proffesional site, you have done an excellent job.
My personal preference would be for the header to be somewhat shorter as very little of the page shows to begin with meaning you have to scroll down to see the main aspects of the page.
I think the effect of the header would be just as good if you lost say half of it's height.
Overall impression, very clean and well presented.

Well done !
