Vaselene anyone?
« on: January 04, 2009, 04:42:55 pm »
I've just coated my S2 joints with the stuff after reading someones post elsewhere. I then tried to jam a joint together and couldn't do it. Hopefully it will work ok and save buying so many of those baby ptfe arosols.
Petroleum jelly has other uses of course......................................................................

I put it on my battery terminals.  ;)

Good for sex too.........

smear it on the door handles - keeps the kids out.  :o

Yes I came up with this idea, even metioned to Alex in a phone call a long time ago, don't put too much on, because the higher you go the more the bottom pole is compressed, and it can become stuck.

I found a light film spread evenly over the end of the pole, and repeated every month is good enough.

If the poles do stick, don't try pulling apart, it will never budge, but twist both poles in opposite dirrections and the poles come easily apart.

Most of my sections are taped so they can't jam but a couple i don't tape because they won't store inside one another in the bag. Hopefully this will help to keep them jam free. If not then the rubber gloves come out!........ ohh err missus.

You wont sit down for a week , used on its own or with a bit of RO water, it allows you to "smoke" in bed. ;D

I prefer the 'black nasty' route myself!

The only problem with this is, is that you can't fit it all inside each other; but you definately don't get them stuck together during normal sessions.
