How many of you turn up every month instead of every 4 week, the reason I ask is that all of my so called monthly customers accept that I will turn up every 4 weeks, instead of "monthly".

What does mean to you?, well on a monthly clean, there are only 12 cleans per year, where as there are 13 cleans on a 4 weekly cycle.

So for example if you have 300 customers and you transfered them to a 4 weekly cycle you would earn an extra 300 cleans a year, so if you charge £10 a clean = £3000

When we were trad I would agree that was the way to go but since going wfp we find that customers will change to eight weekly or moan your early, where as If we go on or around a certain date each month they seem to be happy - strange but true, maybe its my demographic.

All my jobs are 4 or 8 weekly. Otherwise you have 2 days spare every month,  unless you are overloaded with work. I thought everyone did it lunar monthly as opposed to calender monthly. Sorry to sound boring.

Most custys would  love you to call on a set day of the month and some will pay extra but as we know the weather etc can play havoc with it.
If you want to increase your income reduce your time on each job by thinking as your cleaning and reducing your walking for instance, plan what your going to do in the next 30 secs - 3 min. Once you get into it watch your work shrink.
