Hi Paul

Good stuff Formula 90 but be sure to keep to the dilution ratios for light soil it is something crazy like 960:1 which is about 5ml for 5 litres. I got it wrong once and there was foam everywere  :o

What else did you get of Chemspec?

If the carpets are not that dirty then do you need to pre sray?

Used the liquid formula 90, and its hard to get your mind around these crazy dilution rates, maybe we are so used to being ripped off with all the extra water/fillers added to pad these products out.
Also added to much and foam everywhere.
Only one thing I did not like was that loads of large hard cystals form in the bottom of the solution bottle, they did mix when added to hot water, but put me off the liquid.
Any one else had this problem?

Karl

You should not  be getting crystals at the bottom!!

Has it been subjected to frost? If it has it may of gone off!!

Give Chemspec a ring for some advice.

Formula 90 is one of the best products on the market, i have never had this problem.

I use f90 all the time excellent product if you get crystles in the bottom or it looks like ice it is because of the frost, 5mills to 5lrs is correct for portables if you are mixing a stock soloution for the truckmount then 1 ltr of f90 to 25 lts of water is ample.

The f90 powder is a little more aggressive but again the dilution rates are unbelievable,

Karl, what would you rather have as a residue, hard crystals or sticky goo?
I like the F90 powder,as said before it's very economical in use and guess what.It contains 40 to 60 percent of that magical microsplitting compound.  ;D

have used f90 liquid and powder. both superb. the liquid has three dilution ratios depending on level of soil. the powder is very potent on dirties especially with an oxidiser like energizer. the dilution is straightforward on the powder 1 scoop to a bucket. at 960/1 (the weakest dilution) the liquid  is safe to use on protected carpets. and crystalline residue. beware both have quite high ph

Paul ,

You say 10ml/5l is woolsafe and 15ml/5l is not.

I wonder at what dilution it changes?

e.g is 12ml/5l woolsafe

Cheers,

Doug
