Im looking for a inline heater for a Ninja ,

somthing like a V2 Steammate or similar , anyone selling one ?? or can someone point us to a good shop .
( not ashbys as know them )

its rated at about 2kw and 500 psi

As long as your machine and the external heater both have standard male and female connectors, and assuming the pressure capabilities of the heater are matched or exceed the machine, then there should be no problem whatever heat system you get.
Just dont get one that has a max pressure less then the pressure of your machine.

Here is Solutions site that Stu Clark referred to but I don think I have seen the heater on it.

Get Stu to email a pic of it to you.

If its the same as I have it will have 2 chambers in it so you can have full heat of half heat. Sometimes handy on upholstery.

Just dont leave these devices on too long when no water flowing thro.

Have always used built in heaters and i did use an inline heater on a prochem few years ago but never got that hot

Maybe when i had the pump on full it did not have time to heat up.

The ashbys site  have a video of there machine working with in house heater and the booster heater also.

Am going to get another back up machine when the right deal comes along and would go for the inline heater for tough dirty jobs..

mark, is that the black one with a plastic case and handle from vernon, if it is ive had 2, 1st one burnt all wires out 2nd one failed pat test and was advised to chuck it out as dangerous

No Stu mine was Grey had no probs but in light of you experience Stu i will withdraw my recommendation and delete above post.

 Will get mine Pat tested next week.

Here is mine Clinton. Yellow cable is mains, blue is the solution hose, clear plastic one is high pressure steam release.
