I am just taking on my first employee on a full time PAYE basis.
Does anybody have a contract of employment I could have a look at / use please?

Kevin,
The contract of employment on the Business Link website is as good as any for general purposes, it allows you to put in your specific terms regarding holiday, sick pay, etc, etc.

Kevin it might be worth looking at a zero hours contract. Base fixed hours at say 16 !? , I to am looking at taking some on this year and a little look at the different ways to employ and this way seems to be the best if you every have a lil slow period

fedeeration of small buisnesses wel worth the money and all contract forms ect on hand less than £100 and totally worth it. if your desperate i send you over a pdf of it

yes it cost less than the one call to the legal helpline, would recomend it even if it cost £400
but i less than £100 so get the rep to call round send me a email and i will send you the pdf come new year.
