Only do 1 if required.

6 and 7 are the same and no real need for acid rinse on most jobs when using MS.

Only do 8 when applying protector.

Carrying out all tests before cleaning commences

getting there on time

Also Placing all furniture on foil protectors

Drying

Getting paid

Anyway why have you listed pre vac as on the 3rd of March

I know Prochem teach "treat spots first" but personally I do 3. treat spots after 6. hwe.
I don't treat spots first as most come out in the general clean, then I work on any left.

this work method was solely concerned with the cleaning process and not other profitable/ essential sundries. this was using conventional detergents etc. an ideal method for ms may be quite different any suggestions? having missed out many of these steps (apart from hwe and packing up) the post groom seems to make the biggest difference to the carpet appearance. pre grooming seems to be solely to improve the efficiency of the pre vac as the carpet pile can be raised at the post groom. agitation is one i always miss on lightly soiled carpets but always do on dirtys. i do miss out pre vaccing sometimes and see little visible difference except on carpets with large amounts of hair/bits. if applying protector and using conventional products an acid rinse is the manufacturers reccomendation( why?) maybe this method is only for tufted/woven carpets as loop piles couldnt stand all this grooming!
dwell time maybe is the biggest omission and possibly one of the most important steps in my opinion. (how long)
