« on: March 10, 2005, 04:18:06 pm »
I want to send letters to a list of addresses I have as a one off drop.

How and where do I type them into the computer and get it to print the addresses onto sticky labels.

thanks
Mark

Ps. I have access database if thats any help but the addresses are NOT on the database as yet.

Mark,

It all depends on what software you have available.
I have always found best way to do this is have the addresses in something like Access or Excel, then import into Word and do a mail merge, i.e. merge each of them together into one document.
Then as long as your printer knows how to take the doc and print on multiple labels, just hit the print key, and Robert is your mothers brother!

Thanks Lads

I used mail merge in word and typed the address in.

Dead easy when you know how.

I would not use sticky labels, why they look like round robins and not personal, also font change may help.

I use Access mailmerge and window envelopes.
Access allows fine tuning selection of targets
Window envelopes save messing about with labels and getting letters and envelopes mixed up.
