I think that we may need to look at the bigger picture....
Each day I record start/finish time, start/finish milage, total water used per day, tot houses cleaned and of course total money earnt per day....
When you have enough 'numbers' you would be able to work out your averages...it's not until you dig deeper that you will be able to see what and how your work is producing. Hey we all spend money on our business's so these costs need to be factored also...
Just using x number of houses divided by the total income will give you a very false indication of how your business is working for you.
I have to admit that I have averaged 5hrs 56 minutes out of the house for every day I have worked this year...and I average 55.6kms driven per day so my round would appear at first glance to be a part time affair but when the end of year totals are worked out....my round seems to be producing well and with scope to increase without needing to work myself into the ground either...but guys lets not throw our numbers around..it's just not cricket
