If you buy the clamps from cleaning spot, you'll need to cut some slots in the collars.

Funny enouth a customer just called in to our workshops that has been using one of our original aluminium poles everyday for the last ten years.

Old Skool commercial window cleaners were used to carrying double 18' trade ladders around all day or users of the  Exel Universal Fibre glass pole, the PowerPole is light as a feather compared to either of them.

Whats happened to the UK in the past 20 years?  gone are Hod carriers and meat porters to be replaced by keyboard operators

yes window cleaners are still using them, i have a cut down one so it fits into my van ,it might be a bit heavy but i used to carry ladders so there is no differnance i have used a number of differnt poles but keep going back to my powerpole

I use a 12 foot No.1 and if needed a 12 foot No.2 with it. The weight issues dont exist & its brill for windows over conservatories as theres no clamp to catch on the gutter! Fits on the quad too.

Glyn, why don't you bring out a 4 section omnipole that extends to 17 or 18 feet and has a short closed length suitable for downstairs. This could compete with the 17 foot xtell poles which seem to sell loads.

Although more expensive, if it lasts for years it could be a great investment for us window cleaners. If you fit one of your brushes (similar to tucker) on an adjustable plastic angle (the sort that is standard on most poles) it could be a great piece of kit.

OR

Buy a 24ft (4x6ft) + 4 extra clamps, cut it down to 4ft 6inch lengths (18ft) and use the remainder (6ft) as a mini pole for confined spaces.

Thanks for the ideas

We do have PowerPoles in 4' sections
Example a 24' would be 6 x 4'
16' 4 x 4' sections etc.

yes the one i cut down is just a bit longer than a cheap pole from gardiner poles(nice and light great for summer) but the power pole is great for winter or when it is windy its doesn't bend and it is indestrutable
