TBH, you should tell your customers, esp if you have bought a round normally done trad, how you will be doing it.

Dont let it get to you.. move on..

Wow! £3.50! I haven't done a house for £3.50 since 1996 when I started! I soon learned mind.

You bought some good work there, monkeyboy!

If you must do something then wait 'til she goes out and restore her windows to how they were by putting the dirt back on.

BTW, sorry to hear you got sworn at; you're well shot IMO.
It's a game of three halves!

if you put a small hole in the top of the egg, get rid of about 10% of the egg white and replace it with vinegar and salt solution you get a lovely fast setting egg concrete.

I've heard its nearly impossible to remove from glass windows.
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

Wow it's amazing the ideas you pick up on this forum. I would say just get all of her other neighbours so she's the odd one out and then she will find it doubley hard to get another window cleaner, especially for 3.50. Seriously though it's not worth getting upset about which is what she obviously wanted to do.

Only time I was sworn at like that was when one of my custies was a little worse the wear for drink.
Owed me £9 and refused to pay because he didn't see me do the windows. The fact that they were clean didn't register with him and he gave me a right mouthful. Told me a was a lying cheat with a few choice words thrown in.
I told him I was not calling again.
Next month I was cleaning the neighbours when he came out. I thought, 'Here we go again.' Instead he apologised profusely for his conduct, asked me if I would carry on and paid me what he owed plus another up front.
I think his wife probably bent his ear.
They've been good customers ever since.

Just forget about it and move on especially for silly money £3.50.
I think it was about 1990 the last time i charge that.

I have been sworn at it the past by one old dear f'ing and blinding.
I just kept my calm let her finish and then told her to find someone else and walked away.
This was because i would not clean her gutters the between xmas and new year a few years ago and i went round and told her when i would do them and she went into one.

She has tried 3 time now to get me back but i just poliltely say no and she always asks why and i just say i will never do a job for someone again who speaks to me the way she did.

I think that nobody would blame you if you dropped this one, but make sure that the other local 'cleaners know that you've dropped her - and exactly why!

She sounds like a nutter ::)

Anyway, reminds me of when an ex work collegue of mine bought a brand new mini metro (yes, it was a while ago) & one of the radio speakers didn't work. sound was only coming from one side of the car. He went into the dealer & played hell with the salesman, ranting & raving, gave him a right ear full (he had had some other probs with the car too). So the salesman stood there for 5 minutes & took the abuse & when he'd finnished he replied- " that model is only fitted with one speaker as standard Sir"!!!! :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ ;D ;D

I did a few £3.50 houses in about 1992 i`m not having a dig but it`s the truth,if i was only getting that for houses i`d look in different areas if i were you cos that`s a joke.
