« on: December 16, 2008, 04:53:50 pm »
Just had the call from someone offering to get me local authority work (for a fee). Anyone else had this call or got work from them?

Think they called themselves gov.uk or something. I said your going to want a fee i suppose? he said "well we are not a charity!" I lost interest in the converation rather rapidly.

They are a right pain in the backside wont leave me alone. Their sales pitch is misleading to - making out they have the work waiting to be done what what they actually have is some tender notices (that you can get free anyway eg Public tenders.net). This kind of thing really annoys me  >:( >:( >:(

I had that the other week tried to pass it over as they had the work and it was someone ringing for a quote!

they just would not have no for an answer! kept asking y dont u want anymore work i kept saying because i dont and they go on to say of course you do! of courseeee you do dont be silly!

i carried onto say no am not intrested and they still carry on  ::) then asked why dont u want anymore jobs? i said because there is a fee from you i spose... did that stop them no! but phone down in the end

i do like winding these people  up sometimes though depends what mood am in  ;D

Just say "get me the work and i'll pay you a commision " if not "DO ONE"
dont look who's to blame, look how to fix it. anon
