Do any of you guys clean tile and slate roofs and if so how do you do it? I am often asked to clean them but up to now I have said no. With the recession and with the amount of new window cleaners I think I will start if I can do it easily and safely.

Ive seen pressure washing devices to do this job, however someone said the pressure washing tiles will invalidate any guarantee on the tiles.
You will need to phone up some tile manufacturers to obtain advise on this issue, in how to clean them, before you can set up such a service.
Dont forget you will also need insurance to cover this type of work too.

I saw a couple of blokes standing on a roof with a pressure washer in the summer. NOT recommended.
Mind you, when you saw the difference in the bits they had done and the bits they hadn't it really improved the appearance of the whole house.
A "for sale" sign went up shortly after, still there I think.
