I'm talking about those roofs that have almost no (steep) incline to it. How do you get all the rubbish off?

I tried using an angle adaptor, and tilting the brush towards me, so the jets are more horizontal to the roof, making it easier to squirt the bits away. But it's such a pain, especially from the seals around the edges, especially the top, it just doesn't work all that well.

I'm just using wfp, I've tried the tap, but it just seems to blast everywhere.

Give them a good scrub with your wfp, then go over them with a squeegee on a pole!

I do what groundhog does then a quick squirt with prue water .

Use a suitable algea removal detergent with a applicator on a pole pulling the rubbish off it, give it 5 mins and rinse with tap water through the wfp whilst scrubbing.

If its a glass roof, then go back over it and rinse with pure water

But you can get good money for doing con roofs. Pain or not i charge to make it worth it.

If needed, I do have a stiffer bristled cladding brush which can be a great help.  NOT to be used on glass - only polycarbonate.

So do you turn the flow rate way up then? Because I simply can't get all the bits off with normal wfp.

It may not be possible to get 100% of the bits off.. as you know as soon as it rains or birds on the roof in the morning it will soon be covered in bits from the roof again anyway.

I have an old pole fitted with a Vikan sill brush. Instead of connecting it up to my water supply it is fitted with a hose connector so I can use water from the customers tap.

The sill brush can be angled forward so the water is spraying back down the roof but the brush is still in contact with the glass.

With the brush connected to the tap the water really sprays out and you dont care how mich you use.

Instead of brushing up and down use a side to side motion gradually working your way down the roof using the force of the water jets to push the dirt down the roof in front of the brush.

Do one panel at a time and you will probably need to do each panel at least twice.

Easy.
Scrub them well as usual.
Turn up the flow, and drag the water towards you and off the edge.
You'll have to pull it down a few times, but it'll come out fine.
