Just wondered how you work the pricing for doing the insides.
i usually charge for inside whatever i charge for outside, but i nearly always feel that i've done myself as it always seems to take longer to do insides

depends if they smoke. but usually double the price as always have to move items from the sills.

If they dont smoke, and nothing on the sills or awkward curtains then id do it the same as outside.

Priced as outside +£2 per £10.

So £12 for insides on a £10'er.
£24 for insides on a £20'er.

20% more then I guess.

If it's georgians, then up to double.

i find it takes alot more time, i usually charge the same as outside plus 50 %....seems to be fine, so £10 would be 15, unless you know they are easy, but some windows need steps indoor etc and takes ages cleaning up etc, have charged same as outside before now and not really made money to make it worthwhile

I charge 125% for insides and insist on ledges being cleared beforehand.

You might have just nailed it there, sounds good. I think like the 125% rule even better though.

I do request they clear the sills too, it's safer, you you don't accidentally drop things etc. Totally depends on the value, and on how much stuff there is there though.

I have done some nightmare insides in my time so I am much more wary about doing them now

I like cleaning insides but usually underestimate the time it takes to clean them. It's nice to do a bit of trad work in the warm for a change.
