fishing poles are not telescopic they are tapered modular.

Well there are no telescopic fishing poles suitable for our use. All the ones suitable are modular ( push fit ). But there are some telescopic flag poles ( fibre glass ) capable of heights of 30ft.

But if your looking to build a fishing pole to 60ft, its going to be a Maver Resolution or even better a F16 fishing pole.

Jeff Brimble will tell you more.....hopefully!!!

Sky blue make telescopic glass fibre kite poles, so do Ron ThompsonAabout 3 weeks before Peter F launched his very original Mk1 clampless pole, I had used a 9m kite pole and wrapped enough pvc tape round each section to stop it collapsing into itself completely.
It is very similar to Peters first pole but not as strong. In use you simply pulled each section out as you needed and by twisting and locking it would stay up for a bit  :) I really liked the 4ft o/a sections and it is ideal for normal 2 floor houses and fast. I still use it a bit but now prefer the lightness of c/f modular being lazy  :P
Peters MK 2 clampless, (wonder what he will call it ? ) is imminent next month and he has solved the main problem that put me off the mk 1 and thats the spinning problem by a very clever patented ridge.  Comes in 6x4ft 6x5 and 6x6ft.
Maybe it could be made in c/f or composite hmmm ... dash ! its his idea and  its patented anyway. :'(
