Help needed with slow fill rate of tank through ro system
«

I have just bought a van mounted system and having trouble filling the tank. It takes about 15 hours to fill half a 500 ltr tank - I know this can't be right!
The system is a 300 GPD 7 stage comprising of :
5 micron sediment pre filter
granulated block carbon
0.5 micron carbon filter
inline backflush system
3 x 100 gallon ro membranes
inline deionisation unit
500 ltr tank
There are no kinks in hose and the flush tap is off. Not sure what the water pressure is, but it seems good (can run a pressure washer no problem).
I am new to this site and would appreciate any help.
Tony.

A booster pump will cut that time in half.
Is your ro in the van? If so, you are better off taking it out and making your water in the shed. Then transfer over to van tank.
This will only tie up your van for the 5 minutes it takes to transfer.

it really annoys me when people get sold 300gpd ro units - they aren't up to it.
gapswater - 4040ro system £460 far better piece of kit and not much more expensive.
