Came across this 45 ft aluminum pole for 299. down from 456.30.  seems like a good deal for occaisonal high work.
I know it will be pretty heavy to use....but maybe the price is worth it for occaisional work? comes with 9"gooseneck and 18" brush...

I've used a 35" aluminium pole, and it was tough work; very heavy and bendy.  Personally, I reckon for £300 you may as well spend the extra and get a Superlight; or have a look at Matt's DIY forum and DIY a fishing pole upto 45 ft.

If you buy this aluminium pole, you may find that you're buying cheap and end up buying twice.

That's about 5 times over the odds for a heavy rattly pole.

Get a carbon or fibreglass, and save yourself effort and money.
It's a no-brainer.

ive reached 42 ft with a combination of really light fishing poles, the amount spent was around the 100 quid mark, add another base section to that for a extra 20 quid and your at the 45 ft mark for 120 quid

its very light and really stable, great for the occasional high stuff, i doublt it would last well day in day out 8 hours a day use though

i have one its in the shed and it staying there to heavy and bendy and the clips are hard work

The pole is designed by Stream. I have a 24 foot version of this pole which I ocassionally use, but it is not a great pole and I definitely would not buy a longer version. Far too much flex to extend fully and clamps not good.

They are generally nice people to deal with , but if I were them I would stop trying to sell off those poles.

i got one of these poles from stream 45 ft i use it e few times a month fully extended it is not perfect but good value for money i have not use anyting other than thisone for that hight but higher they are more bendy they are so my opinion is every different make must be the same above certain hight
